Things may seem quiet right now but I assure you that will not last long. I am busy at work starting up an official blog. Bear with me and stay tuned for more crochet craziness!

I am so crazy busy right now. But that is a good thing right? I have an order for 3 pocket monsters! One of which is a whale... he will have a blow hole. I am far more excited than I should be about this. I am also working on some donations for a silent auction, a few patterns that need to be tweaked and the ever daunting snowflake table cloth. Now lets hope I have time to squeeze in a few Christmas presents.

I have always been intimidated by the tiny-thin strands of yarn used to make tablecloths... it seems almost impossible that anyone can crochet them. My mom however used to make the most beautiful, intricate tablecloths. She lost her sight about 10 years ago and that changed things. While she still crochets up a storm the more complex patterns can be too difficult to follow. We recently found some crochet cotton in a larger size (Aunt Lydia's size 3) and she seems to be able to work with it. So now I am proud to announce that she is making me a tablecloth!
